I’m absolutely delighted to have won both the Melville Club and Open F125 Championships this weekend to add to my Knockhill F125 Championship 🍾🎉🍾🎉😀. I’m so proud to have won all three Scottish 125 Championships in my first full season road racing.

Saturday Race 1

I had qualified in 2nd position on Saturday which I knew was ok as at East Fortune the first 3 all start in a line. I got a good start and was in 1st position for the first lap but Adon then got past me. I followed close behind him but I didn’t want to make a mistake trying to overtake as all I needed to do was finish all my races to win the Championship. So I finished in a comfortable 2nd Position.
2nd Position.

Saturday Race 2

I got another good start and was 1st again but Adon was right behind me. I managed to do some good laps but Adon was still right behind me, on the fourth lap he got past and put me back into 2nd position. I was able to follow right behind him and we both set our personal best laps and I was confident I could try to overtake on the last lap but I then got stuck behind a classic bike we were overtaking and this gave him enough of a lead and I finished 2nd again. I was still really happy as this was enough to win the Club Championship 😜.
2nd Position

Sunday Race 3

My dad had let me know that I had to finish the races to win the Open Championship and I was under orders to “Do not crash” as we were also selling the bikes. I got a good start again but Adon was going well and overtook me, I knew if I pushed harder to get back past that he would push harder so I followed ‘Team’ orders and followed him in for a comfortable 2nd Position.
2nd Position

Sunday Race 4

Jack Hart Racing The last race of the Championship was very similar to race 3 as all I needed to win the Championship was 2 points, so I had quite a relaxed race and finished 2nd again behind Adon.
2nd Position.

It was a fantastic weekend to win both Championships but it was difficult as I didn’t want to make a daft mistake and blow my Championship. Well done to Adon for winning the four races and finishing runner up in the Championship and well done to Joel for a well-deserved 3rd in the Championship. Unlucky to Owen Paterson who would have been battling with us if he hadn’t had his scooter accident and thanks for a loan of his tyre warmers 🙄. Also big well done to everyone else I’ve been racing with this year as they’ve made the weekends great fun. Massive thanks to all the volunteers and Medical staff at Melville again. Biggest thanks to all our sponsors as without them we could not have had such a great year 👌👏
